  1. The Government of India has received credit for financing from the World Bank towards the cost of Jhelum &Tawi Flood Recovery Project and intends to apply a part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the contracts for construction of works as detailed below.

 

  1. The Director Technical, Project Management Unit, Jhelum Tawi Flood Recovery Project now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for “SUPPLY, INSTALLATION & COMMISSIONING, operation and maintenanceOF HYDRO METEREOLOGICAL SYSTEM FOR JAMMU & KASHMIR”.

 

  1. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits &Grants by World Bank Borrowers, January 2011 Revised July 2014 (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

 

  1. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Project Management Unit, Jhelum Tawi Flood Recovery Project; Email id : dirpmujk@gmail.com, dirpnc@gmail.com; Tel : 0194-2437320, 0191 – 2475521, 9419025185 and inspect the bidding documents during office hours [0930 to 1700 hours] at the address given below:-

 

  1. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of INR 10,000/- (Indian Rupees Ten Thousand). The method of payment will be Demand Draft in favour of Chief Accounts Officer, PMU, JTFRP. The document will be sent by post, courier services, or in person (In case the bidding document is downloaded from website, payment should accompany the bid submission).

 

  1. Bids must be delivered to the address :-PMU JTFRP Office, ERA Commercial Complex, Rambagh Srinagar, J&K. on or before 1600 hours of   14-11-2019. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened on the same day immediately after the bid submission in presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below Project Management Unit, JTFRP, ERA Complex Rambagh Srinagar1630 on 14-11-2019. In the event of the date specified for bid submission and opening being declared as a closed holiday for the purchaser’s office, the due date for submission and opening of bids will be the following working day at the appointed time.

 

  1. All bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” of INR 12.5 million (Twelve million and five hundred thousand Indian Rupees) or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency in case of a Bid Security.
