JTFRP signs four major consultancy agreements costing Rs.67.82 crores.

For the Project JTFRP (Jhelum & Tawi Flood Recovery Project) financed by World Bank, the PMU signed four major consultancy agreements. With the signing of these agreements, the consultancies will be mobilized within next fortnight.

  The agreements signed include (i) With  EPTISA(SPAIN) for consultancy services to conduct feasibility studies and to prepare detailed project report for comprehensive Flood Mitigation in Jhelum River Basin at the cost of Rs 17.19 crores, (ii) With Aqualogus-Oiltech(JV)(Portugal) for consultancy services to conduct feasibility studies and to prepare detailed project report for comprehensive Flood Mitigation in Tawi River Basin  at the cost of Rs.17.11 crores,  (iii) With LEA Associates(Canada) for Technical Assistance and quality assured consultants at the cost of Rs.12.90 crores and  (iv) With RMSI Ltd  for consultancy services for carrying out multi hazard Risk Assessment for J&K, at the cost of Rs.12.90 crores. Agreements were signed by concerned Directors with Representatives of Firms in presence of CEO JTFRP, Shri Vinod Sharma, others present included Sh. Iftikar Ahmad Hakeem, Director (P&C), Sh. Khalid Iqbal Malik, Director (Tech) and Sh. Tasawuf Amin, CAO.
