  1. The Government of India has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of Jhelum Tawi Flood Recovery Project that part of the proceeds will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for supply of goods as detailed below.

 

  1. The Director Technical, Project Management Unit, Jhelum Tawi Flood Recovery Project now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Procurement of low capacity diesel engine driven mobile pumping units for SMC.

 

  1. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures agreed with World Bank. The bidding is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Bank’s Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 of the Guidelines setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

 

  1. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 26 – 09 – 2019 to 31 – 10 – 2019 at the office of the Project Management Unit, Jhelum Tawi Flood Recovery Project, ERA Commercial Complex, Rambagh Srinagar – 190009.   1. Bidding documents may be purchased from the above mentioned addresses office -from 26-09-2019 to 31-10-2019  for a non-refundable fee as indicated in the table below, in the form of Demand Draft (DD) on any Scheduled/Nationalized bank payable in favour of Chief Accounts Officer PMU JTFRP  .The bidding documents and  addenda if any   can also   be downloaded from the website www.jtfrp.in. The cost of bid document in shape of DD  should accompany the bid submission  failing which the bid will be treated non responsive .

 

  1. The bidding document may be obtained from the office of Project Management Unit, Jhelum Tawi Flood Recovery Project, ERA Commercial Complex, Rambagh Srinagar – 190009 during office hours, on all working days either in person or by post.

 

  1. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of INR 1.00 Lacs as specified in the bid document and must be delivered to the above office at the date and time indicated above. Electronic bidding will not be permitted.  Late bids will be rejected.

 

  1. Bids will be publically opened in the presence of Bidders’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address given above on the specified date and time.

 

  1. In the event of the date specified for bid receipt and opening being declared as a closed holiday for the purchaser’s office, the due date for submission of bids and opening of bids will be the following working day at the appointed times.
